Mobile Phone Definition :-
Mobile Phone is a wireless and portable telephone device which works over a large area. It has a standard functions of wired telephone. Mobile Phone is also called as a Cell Phone or Hand Phone.
The first mobile phone was invented by Dr. Martin Cooper, a Motorola Employee in 1973.
Earlier the mobile phone is used just for calling and receiving calls from the other side. But now a days, there are lot of features in it. A lot of applications included in a small mobile phone. There are lot of features inbuilt in mobile phone like clock, calender, calculator, alarm, and latest features like WAP Services, Bluetooth, MMS, Internet service, GPRS, etc. and etc.
Firstly, there used to available single SIM phone, but now there dual SIM phones, somewhere 3 SIMs in a single phone but not popular.
After the arrival of mobile phones, the daily life has become very comfortable. A normal person is also using mobile phones now a days due to the comfortable prices in the market.
First mobile phone was invented by Motorola. But One of the mobile phone manufacturers called NOKIA has created the revolution in the world market.
There are lot of advantages and disadvantages in using Mobile Phones. But it depends on us, whether to take it to positive or negative side. By using mobile phone moderately, we have lot of advantages.
Advantages of Mobile Phone :-
- Easy to carry, due to its portability.
- Can maintain regular contact with family and friends.
- Memories can be captured by a Camera inbuilted in Mobile Phone.
- Can connect and surf the Internet.
- You can maintain individuality
- Can be used worldwidely.
- Can listen music and play games.
- It is very useful in emergencies.
Disadvantages of Mobile Phone :-
- mobile phone radiation may harm our health. It can damage your ear if you use continuously.
- it can be addictive.
- it is not spread to everywhere, in some places it may not have connectivity due to unavailability of tower, which transfer signals.
- many people use the mobile phone when they drive the vehicle and accident may occur.
- it has become very cheap. Due to its less cost people who doesn't require is also buying and misusing it.
